اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْـعَالَمٖينَۙ  (2) اَلرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖيمِۙ (3) مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدّٖينِؕ 

Wassalatu wassalamu ala ashrafil’mursalin, habibi Rabbi’l-alemin, shafi’il muznibin Muhammadini-l Mustafa,  wa ala alihi wa sahbihi acmain, wa ala ibadillahissalihin…

Allahumma inna nastagfiruke wa natubu ilayka…

Allahumma inna nastagfiruke wa natubu ilayka…

Allahumma inna nastagfiruke wa natubu ilayka…

Ya Rabbelalemin!

You are our Lord and we are your servants!

You are our Creator and we are your creatures!

You are our Sustainer and we are sustained by You!

You are our Owner and we are your property!

You are Almighty and we are humble!

You are Rich and we are poor to You!

You are Powerful and we are needy to You!

In this moment of our broken hearts and humbled souls, we seek to approach You, knocking on the door of Your Mercy, hoping to be accepted into Your exalted presence.

Would You hear our voice, look upon our broken hearts, open the door of Malakut for us, and admit us into Your high company?

We are indeed sinful and erring servants, yet we have never taken anyone as our Lord other than You! Even our good deeds are tainted with shortcomings and deficiencies, making us ashamed to offer them as our gift to You. Yet, we have worshiped none other than You, we have seeked help from none other than You!

Please accept us into Your presence through the sincerity of our tawheed, and bless us with the ultimate understanding of it.

O Allah! We are travelers. Our journey began in the world of spirits and has passed through the stations of childhood, youth, and old age, only to conclude at the grave. From there, we will continue to a completely new world.

A sincere servant of Yours, our beloved teacher Muhammed Fethullah Gülen, was a traveler as well. Today, we are witnessing his final migration. He is leaving behind the world of suffering and stepping into the world of eternal blessings.

O Allah, O Rahman, O Gafur! Forgive the shortcomings of our beloved teacher, embrace him with Your infinite mercy, and accept him into Your exalted presence with the most beautiful acceptance, just as You accepted Mary, the mother of Jesus aleyhisselam, when she was still in the womb of her mother.

O our Lord! You describe yourself in the Qur’an as

تُولِجُ الَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي الَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَٓاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

O Allah! Let us entrust our teacher’s body into the earth, but his spirit to your hands. Just as You bring forth the day from the night and the living from the dead, make his death the beginning of a new life—one of hope and renewal for humanity, for the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him), for our teacher Muhammed Fethullah Gülen, for his students, and for his community. O Rezzak! Your treasures are infinite, and Your generosity knows no limits. Please provide for all of us both spiritual and material sustenance without limitation.

O our beloved Rabb! We are Your servants. From our teacher, we have learned that nothing is more esteemed and valuable than the honor of servanthood and devotion to You. This is why, in the Qur’an, You mention the servanthood of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during his ascension to Your presence.

سُبْحَانَ الَّـذٖٓي اَسْرٰى بِعَبْدِهٖ لَيْلاً مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ اِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْاَقْصَا…

O Allah! We witnessed the servanthood of our teacher Fethullah Gülen throughout his entire life. He used to tell us that he bent his knees even while in bed, feeling himself in Your high presence and out of respect for You. O Allah! Please accept his servanthood and admit him into the company of Your close servants.

O Allah, O Mutakallim! Our teacher was a hafizu’l-Qur’an, a servant of the Qur’an, a lover of the Qur’an, a student of the Qur’an, and a mufassir of the Qur’an. He lived his life by the Qur’an and exemplified its teachings in life through the people and institutions that he inspired in different parts of the world.

Please make the Qur’an his companion in his grave, enlighten and expand his grave with Your blessed words, and accept the Qur’anic recitations made by our brothers and sisters all over the world. Beautify him and beautify us with the adornment of the Qur’an, honor him and honor us with the nobility of the Qur’an, and make us the carriers of its message after him. Bless him, bless us, and bless the entire Ummah through Your Qur’an al-Karim.

O Allah! Our teacher, Muhammad Fethullah Gülen, was a true lover of Your beloved Prophet, Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings be upon him). How could he not love him, when You loved him before all of creation? How could he not love him, when he was a descendant of him? Out of love, he used to call our prophet Muhamamad, The Rose of My Heart!

In his poetry, he talked to him as follows:

As I mentioned you again, nothing else remained in my memory;

I imagined you traveling on the hills of my heart.

A mirage, I know, but it sufficed to calm the anguish of my heart.

As I mentioned you again, nothing else remains in my memory.

I wish I could move the whole of time with love of you,

and travel in your horizons, rising high like spirits;

I wish, finding a way, I could fly into your heart.

I wish I could move the whole of time with love of you.

…

In fact, he expressed the last wish of his life in this poem, addressing prophet Muhammad as follows:

Let my setting, the last moment of my life, be a new rising,

And my heart be invaded by the colors of your climate;

Let lutes be played everywhere, and reed flutes heard.

Let my setting, the last moment of my life, be a new rising.

O Allah! Permit our teacher to join the company of our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and guide our entire Ummah to the sunnah of our prophet.

O Allah, You sent our Prophet Muhammad as a mercy to all creation. Following his guidance, our teacher Fethullah Gülen dedicated his entire life to serving all of Your creation. Hizmet in Turkish, Service in English, was the essence of his life.

Please accept his service for Your cause, multiply its fruits after his departure, and keep us steadfast on the path of service according to the principles of the sunnah.

O Allah! One of the enemies that Muhammad Fethullah Gülen fought against was fragmentation and disunity among humanity. He opposed this through education, mercy, and tolerance. He sought to establish peace in the world and to end enmity and animosity. He referred to the institutions he inspired as “Peace Islands.”

O Allah, O Selam! Grant him peace in the highest paradise, bestow upon him Your Ridwan, and make us advocates of unity and inclusion. Unite the hearts of our Ummah and establish peace among all of humanity.

O Allah! We have known Muhammad Fethullah Gülen as an Alim of Islam and an Arif billah. Knowledge, wisdom, and irfan were his distinguishing qualities. He believed deeply in the vital role of knowledge and regarded education as the primary means to address the challenges of our world.

O Allah, O Alim, O Hakim! Grant us the capacity to understand the intricacies of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, reveal into our hearts Your intimate knowledge, bless us with wisdom, and enable us to carry on the legacy of our teacher.

O Allah, O Hadi, O Rashid! Our teacher, Muhammad Fethullah Gülen, guided us to the Sunnah, to the Qur’an, and to You. After his departure, continue to bless us with Your special guidance:

اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقٖيمَۙ (6) صِرَاطَ الَّذٖينَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْۙ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّٓالّٖينَ
